TOVAR
Dj producer from Tijuana Baja California Mexico, he has been a musician since 1987, but it was till 1998 when he started producing electronic music. Some of his first tracks where picked up by Nordic Trax for the compilation Buttons Down Beats, this release was under his side project “Lobby”.
Tovar is part of the Mexican Collective Nopalbeat, where he had a few releases on vinyl and CD.
His latest cd release is called Tovar-tigre (nopalbeat) , an album that contains a variety of styles from down tempo, latin eclectic and techouse.
Tovar’s house production where noticed by Jay West (flavor, candy music ) and Jazzy eyeweare (so sound recordings) who signed a few tracks and embraced him as part of their label artist.
Tovar has released tracks with elevation recordings, flavor , 3am recordings and he will have some releases in the near future with So Sound & Candy Music.
